On 18th, Aug, Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Construction officially issued <125 construction development plan>, which referred the HRB 400 concrete iron consumption will cover 45% of total during the 125 plan, it also requires 10% general energy saving in this period while steel structure is one of the key ways. It means rapid development opportunity for steel industry.

Steel structure enjoys wide application, especially in construction field, it has significant advantages. Steel structure construction industry has already been listed in , it is one of our key industries. About 55% annual steel structure output was applied in construction industry, including steel structure plants, high-rise steel structure, steel structure public works and multilayer steel structure. With raising manual cost and new material being applied, steel structure residence will gradually come into use. At present, our annual output of steel structure covers about 4% of total crude steel, while it has reached over 10% in developed countries. Therefore, our promotion space is quite large and the steel structure scale is estimated to be doubled in 2015 than 2010.
