Experts request popularize steel structure residence

Steel structure building is the preference for industrial pre-fabrication, enable people to “make houses as simple as make cars”. In recent 16th Shanghai International Metallurgy Exposition, the experts and commercial representatives unanimously agreed that steel structure building is our only way to residence industrialization and construction industry upgrading.

In Japan, 83% steel structure accessories are produced in factory, steel structure residences cover 20% market share, while Chinese only covers less than 1%, even such famous enterprises as Bao steel, Laigang and Yuanda group have fulfilled 93% factory producing. Low market share leads higher cost than concrete residence, failed to change our extensive producing mode by now.
