Some problems in modern steel structure

1.      Fire resistance

Conflagration means doom to steel structural buildings, although steel is non-combustible material, it’s not fire resistant. The tensile strength will be half weakened when the temperature reaches 400 degrees; steel lose all the strength and rigidity when the temperature reaches 600 degrees. Below are two common fire precautions: One: apply newly imported fire plate; two: use thick or thin fire retardant coating in every steel structural section.

2.      Corrosion

Steel will easily get corroded after being exposed outdoor for a long time, which will weaken the capacity and appearance. So it is the priority in steel structural buildings, but we have to import anticorrosive painting from other countries at present.
