Steel structure makes green life
On 26th Sep, 2011, the largest Asian annual steel industry pageant jointly held by China Metal Association and Shanghai Municipal Metal Association was convoked in Shanghai Expo Theme Pavilion.
MTMEXPO is the joint name of “16th Shanghai International Metallurgy Industrial Expo, 7th Shanghai International Tube Expo and 7th Shanghai International Metal Expo, it covers all the steel industry. They held a forum on site that named “Green residence make happy life”.
Steel structure is green, low carbon and environment friendly, the recycling rate reaches 70% while the construction waste is only 1/4 compared with general material.
The statistics shows that steel structure residence is very popular in developed countries; Britain covers 26%, Japan 21%, Australia 12%, USA 5%, only 1% in China.
